Borneo Cultural Village located in Papar is about 50 minutes away from city centre, Kota Kinabalu. BCV offers a cultural experience like no other. Upon entering, the green scenery will quickly give you the feeling of visiting a village and will make you anticipate the journey you are about to have.
There are a number of cultural houses to experience different tribes such as Traditional Papar House, Murut House, Penampang House, Bajau House and Tidong House. Each house was built by the descendant of the ethnic they represent. Each house has a unique activity where you can participate such as in Murut House-Blow Pipe; or Tidung House- start fire with just bamboo; Bajau House-playing musical instrument.
The Sabah Agriculture Park (Taman Pertanian Sabah) is situated on a 200 hectare site and was developed and maintained by the Agriculture Department. It is a park that offers visitors both recreational and educational activities.

| Depart to Borneo Cultural Village, located at Papar Village - South of Kota Kinabalu. This 50 minutes drives will takes you to long road way from the hustle and bustle of city town. Upon entering the village, you will be amazed by the lush, cooling greenery and the custom welcome ceremony. You will then be ushered to the different homes of the ethnicities of Sabah. Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent and offer you a truly genuine experience seeing everything in and around the village lends to its magical prowess of taking you back in time. Not only does this village portry the tribes through the architectural genius of their traditional houses, but also through a range of simulated lives of the golden era by the residents of the village. Acquaint yourself with each tribe as they let you come into their house and their simple yet intricate lives. | |

| Continue driving passing rainforests and hamlets, to Tenom, and interior upland town. Visit to Yit Foh Coffee Factory for an educational 5 minutes video presentation and have the opportunity for coffee sampling. Dinner at local restaurant before heading to Fatt Choi Cabin hidden away on a lush private property backing onto the State forest of the Crocker Ranges, the cabin area has a commanding views over the Padas River Valley and Old Tenom Town for an overnight. |
| Day 02 | Agriculture Park / Keningau / Sabah Tea (B, L, D) |
| After breakfast continue drive for another 20km/12 miles to Tenom Agriculture Park at Lagud Sebrang to visit its Orchid Centre & The Living Crop Museum. Here at Lagud, Sebrang, the Sabah Agriculture Park has Borneo's biggest collection of orchids with over 600 species and several hybrids, and a Living Crop Museum with tropical fruits, spices and commercial crops from all over the world. Lunch at local restaurant then continue drive to Kinabalu Park past mountainous Crocker Range with panoramic view of the countryside and soaring hills. Whilst en route to Kinabalu Park, you can catch the magnificent sight of Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia's highest peak. The Park is a World Heritage Site with incredible mega bio-diversity of flora and fauna, a heaven for nature enthusiasts. On arrival, enjoy a guided nature trek along one of the many trails in the park. Stay overnight at Sabah Tea Garden @ Cottages (ROH double room) in Ranau. |
| Day 03 | Sabah Tea / Poring Hotspring / Kota Kinabalu (B,L) |
| Wake up to the beautiful sunrise view of Mt Kinabalu and undulating tea plantation covered in mist. After breakfast proceed by private car for a Tea Factory Educational Tour that includes a video overview, coloring test, plantation briefingm 1-page handout on tea processing and a packet of 50g loose tea leaves. At 0900 hrs depart for Kamunsu Hill for a jungle trek to learn about the flora and fauna of the Borneo Rainforest. Return to the hotel before 1130 hrs to check out. Stop at the local shop for some local souvenirs, followed by lunch before proceeding to Poring Hot Springs which offers visitors the opportunity for an invigorating dip into its hot sulphur springs. For a closer look at nature, take the 41m high canopy walk which offers a spectacular view of the Borneo Rainforest flora and fauna. | |
